2019 Tempranillo

This Tempranillo is part of the Spanish block in our vineyard. These head-trained vines have been in the ground since 2010, in the coldest part of our property. Dried cherries, fresh tobacco and warm spice lead to notes of rich, dark-roasted coffee beans. The American oak barrels used to age the wine have added to its long, tannic finish.

Description

This classically head-trained Tempranillo was finally planted on the Estate in 2010. The vineyard block, though still young, offers fresh, intense fruit along with incredible structure and grippy tannin. Clean and long on the finish.
