~Greetings Red Soles Fans~ We hope that your 2012 is off to a fantastic start! It’s January, and do you know what that means here at Red Soles? It means that we are making final preparations for bottling all of our new red wines! Thank goodness, because if you have been to the tasting room lately, you must have noticed that several of your favorites are sold out! Final blends have been prepared, foil capsules have arrived, and so have the cases of corks. We’ll be bottling the first week of February and releasing the new vintages just in time for the Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival, March 16-18, 2012. We are just thrilled with the new wines and can hardly wait to share them with you…keep reading and we’ll fill you in on your chance for a sneak peak of these luscious offerings! Zinfandel Festival Weekend This year’s Zinfandel Festival falls on St. Patrick’s Day Weekend… As if it wasn’t our favorite weekend of the year already! We’ll be pouring our brand new reds in the tasting room Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 16-18, 2012. Indulge in expertly crafted wine and cheese pairings while enjoying our scenery. We’ll have the bbq fired up out back and will be cranking out your favorite tri tip sandwiches while you browse our Art Boutique in the garden. All of this is complementary for Soles Club members and $10 for non members. Reservations not necessary for groups less than ten people. We’ll be here each day from 11 am until 5 pm, please come and say hello and have some fun with us! We are excited to mention the three vendors we have lined up for Zin Fest. Each of these vendors has local ties to Paso Robles and we think you will love their handmade products… Check them out below! Cheers, Red Soles Winery Red Wine Pre-Release Party 2012 We will be hosting the annual Red Wine Pre-Release Party on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 5:30 til 7 pm.  We’ll be pouring the most food friendly of our new releases, paired perfectly with small bites by Dining with Andre. Since we have not yet bottled these wines, we have not been able to confirm a menu. We can assure that the pairings will be simply delicious and you’ll be wishing you had your own French chef! Take into consideration that this event costs just $22 per member, and $27 for non members and we bet you’ll be making your reservation quickly! Don’t wait, this one fills up quickly. March 31, 2012 Cal Poly Wine Festival We don’t venture out often, but we couldn’t resist supporting Cal Poly’s 10th annual event. This event will feature a fabulous variety of wineries, restaurants, live music, and a silent auction too! April 14-15, 2012 Wine 4 Paws Weekend Join Red Soles and many of our neighbors as we raise much needed money for the Woods Humane Society. Participants are dog friendly and have fun pet related events going on too! Last year this event raised almost $25,000!

Holiday Hours at the Tasting Room
Red Soles will be open 11 am till 2 pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, and closed in observance of Christmas Day and New Years Day.  Bringing a group of 6 or more people? Please call us ahead for a reservation. Just call us at (805) 226-9898.

Accomodations
If you need a place to stay, the Paso Robles Inn still has rooms and is offering a 10% discount on your hotel stay, plus a free appetizeror dessert at the restaurant, and free corkage on your first bottle of wine. This offer is valid  for any Soles Club member, just call the Paso Robles Inn at (805) 238-2660 and let them know you part of our Wine Club.

April 14-15—Wine 4 Paws Weekend

Visit Red Soles and other participating central coast wineries and help support Woods Humane Society, our local animal shelter. Each participant donates a portion of the weekend’s sales to the shelter, and many are dog friendly. www.wine4paws.com

April 28^th—Pick-Up Party

12-2 pm  Free to members

May 5— Mission San Miguel’s Wine Experiencia

Join Red Soles in supporting one of California’s most historic and cultural treasures. This fundraiser and tasting event is held in the beautiful inner courtyard of the Mission. www.missionsanmiguel.org

May 18-20—Wine Festival Weekend

You won’t find us down at the park, but we will be pouring away at the Tasting Room, daily from 11 am til 5 pm. Plus, you never know what else we’ll have planned as we get closer to festival time! As always, free for Soles Club members, $10 non members.

June 30^th—Summer Kick-Off Party

August 4^th, & September 15th—Blending Parties

12-2 pm  in the Barrel Room. Come join your fellow wine lovers as they complete for the “Club members Blend”.  Bring your discriminating palate and your clever names too! Reservations required, call for pricing.
