Join Us For One of Our Upcoming Events!

~Greetings Red Soles Fans~ We hope that your weekend is off to a great start. We are enjoying the sunshine here in Paso, although we are keeping our fingers crossed for more rain! The crews are out pruning here on Miracles Ranch, and its beginning to look like Spring. Come on out with a picnic, admire the green grass popping up between rows, and enjoy with us! We have finalized additional details for our next few events, and we think you’ll find them to be perfectly good reasons to mark your calendar! Zinfandel Festival Weekend We’ll be pouring our brand new reds in the tasting room Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 15-17, 2013. Indulge in expertly crafted wine and cheese pairings while enjoying our scenery. We’ll have the bbq fired up out back and will be serving up your favorite tri tip sandwiches while you browse our Art Boutique in the garden. All of this is complementary for Soles Club members and $10 for non members. Reservations not necessary for groups less than ten people. We’ll be here each day from 11 am until 5 pm, please come and say hello and have some fun with us! Earth & Sky Studio ~ Rustically elegant original jewelry, as well as original nature photography. Olivas De Oro Olive Company ~ Award winning, estate grown organic, and grown right on the Central Coast. Succulents By Robert ~ Individual and arranged succulents for your garden. April 13-14, 2013 Wine 4 Paws Weekend Put your wine purchases toward a great cause, and help our four legged friends who can’t help themselves! Choose from over 70 wineries on the Central Coast April 13-14 when they will donate a portion of all sales to Woods Humane Society. No advance tickets needed, simply visit Red Soles and any other of our participating wineries April 13 & 14 when they will donate a portion of your purchase or your Tasting Fee to Woods. Chef Jeff Wiesinger of Jeffry’s Catering has put together a delightful array of appetizer sized bites to pair with a sneak peak of our newest red wines. 2013 Calendar of Events

May 17 – 19: Wine Festival Weekend

We’ll be pouring our newest releases in the tasting room Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Indulge in expertly crafted wine and cheese pairings while enjoying our scenery. We’ll have the bbq fired up out back and will be serving up your favorite tri tip sandwiches while you browse our Art Boutique in the garden. All of this is complementary for Soles Club members and $10 for non-members. Reservations not necessary for groups less than ten people. We’ll be here each day from 11 am until 5 pm, please come and say hello and have some fun with us!

May 25 – 27: Memorial Day Weekend Benefit

Red Soles is happy to support the Wounded Warrior Project by donating 50% of all wine proceeds of Memorial Day Weekend to this worthy project. Please stop by and help us honor these American heroes!

June 29: Kick-Off the Summer Party

Join us in the tasting room as we Kick Off The Summer! We’ll be pouring your favorite summer time wines, grilling some snacks and soaking in the sunshine.  Vino Therapy Studio will be giving free foot soaks and chair massages out on the lawn, and we’ll have some of the artists here with works for sale too.

July 20: Wine Maker’s  Walk About & Luncheon

Randy Phillips will lead our group on a pleasant walking tour of Miracles Ranch, right from the Red Soles Barrel Room. Learn the nuances of this hundred acre property while out amongst the vines. He’ll explain some of the Red Soles sustainable growing philosophy as we trek from tasting station to tasting station. We’ll enjoy a tasty lunch in the Barrel Room and the afternoon will be rounded out with a bit of barrel tasting of some up and coming Red Soles vintages. 11:30 am – 2 pm. $45 for members, $55 for guests.  RSVP required.

August 10 and September 14: Blending Parties

Come join your fellow Red Soles wine lovers as they compete for the “Club Members Blend”.  We meet down at the Barrel Room, where we have tables ready to go with unmarked bottles of wine, beakers, notepads and pens. It is up to you and your team to create your favorite blend and hope that it wins it all! Bring your discriminating palate and your clever foot and shoe names too! We’ll be serving a gourmet lunch to help you power through your session.  RSVP required.

Harvest Wine Weekend 2012: October 19-21

Red Soles Winery takes pride in making wines made from premium, estate grown fruit. Join us as we celebrate Harvest Season at our cozy tasting room, which is also where we make our 2,000 cases of wine this time of year. Since all of our wine is made right here, you’ll get a sneak peak of what the other places call “behind the scenes.” We’ll be pouring your favorite whites &  bold, award winning reds paired with tasty cheeses. We’ll have the bbq fired up out back; serving up tri tip sandwiches while you browse locally made jewelry  and photography by Earth & Sky Studio, and,as well as gourmet local olive oils by Olivas de Oro. Free for Soles Club/$10 Guests

The Fall Soles Club shipment is just about ready for our members…

For those that have their wine shipped, it will leave here on Monday, October 29, 2012. You will get an email with the tracking info so that you know when to expect your box of goodness!

If you have elected to be a “Will Call Member”, our Pick Up Party is Saturday, November 3, 2012 from noon til 2 pm in our Barrel Room. As always, this afternoon includes a FREE lunch for our Club Members. We’ll be pouring some of the wines included in your shipment and serving a delicious taco and salsa bar!   This is also the day that you cast your vote for next year’s Club Member’s Blend. “MemenTOES” or “One Small Step”, that is the question dear friends. You’ll have to taste and decide for yourselves! And the discount. Oh yes, the discount! We don’t do this very often, but Randy would like to offer an extra 5% discount on any wine purchases you make on our Pick Up Party day, in the tasting room only.  This is in addition to your regular club discount and a terrific chance to stock up on your favorite Red Soles wines for the Holiday season. If you’d like to join us, just send an RSVP. This event is complementary for members and $25 for guests.

Red Soles Winery Summer Events

Blending Party September 15th, 2012 Come join your fellow Red Soles wine lovers as they complete for the “Club Members Blend”.  We meet down at the Barrel Room, where we have tables ready to go with unmarked bottles of wine, beakers, notepads and pens. It is up to you and your team to create your favorite blend and hope that it wins it all! Bring your discriminating palate and your clever foot and shoe names too! We’ll be serving a gourmet lunch by Odyssey World Café to help you power through your session.   $32 per person for Soles Club members and $37 for guests/non-members.Event runs from noon til 2 pm. Reservations required. $1 Picnic Promotion is Back for the Month of August! We have had a busy few months here. We have been truly delighted to see so many of you walk through the front door, and happy to have you share our little bit of paradise with your guests.  As a token of our appreciation we are happy to announce the return of our $1 Picnic Promotion through the rest of this month. Dust off that old picnic basket, fill it with your favorite fare, and bring it out to Red Soles. Bask in the sunshine or the shade of one of our bright umbrellas and as we offer your choice of Red Soles 2010 Viognier or 2009 Estate Syrah for just a buck to complete your picnic lunch. Enjoy your lunch while taking in the view of green vines and blue skies and savor your Red Soles experience! If you have not yet had the opportunity to check out our new picnic grounds among the Syrah vines (pictured above), this is the perfect opportunity. No reservations necessary, come and enjoy any day of the week from 11 am until 5 pm  through the month of August. Limit one bottle per membership and one membership per per picnic basket. Viognier & Flip Flop Coaster Deal If you purchase two bottles of our 2010 Viogner, we’ll include two of the cute, little flip flop coasters in a rattan bag as your free gift. This wine is loaded with fresh apricot and juicy peach flavors with a lovely honeysuckle and spice finish. Perfect with summer salads & picnics, grilled chicken or fish, or just by the glass while you are lounging in your hammock!
